There are white people across the street. There are white people next door. THere are white people on the corner. Isn't it coincidental that the pothole that's been in the street for 3 years just got fixed 2 weeks ago?
There are white people in Kirkwood. There are white people on Glenwood. There are whtie people in Shoal Creek. That means, that I gotta go ALL the way to to South West Atlanta to get crack and hookers.
There are Jews on LaVista Rd. I find it ironic that ghetto is a Yiddish word, yet this doesn't look like any ghetto I've ever seen.
I've never been to Mexico, but I HAVE been to Doraville. They sell burritos in the McDonald's Up there.
There are Koreans in Chamblee. There are Africans in Clarkston. When I'm on N. Indian Creek rd., I have to wonder if there's ANYONE left in Somalia.
There are Indians on Lawrenceville Hwy. There are black people in Cumming. They actually LIVE there.
White people are running BACK into the city to get away from the black people they ran to the country to get away from.
My neighborhood used to be all black.
There are white people across the street. There are white people next door. THere are white people on the corner.
The white people across the street bought that house from the white family that moved in 3 years ago. The white people on the corner bought the house from the white man who used to rent it to the crack dealers. The white people next door bought that house from the white people who got it from Ms Julia. BOY am I glad that old bitch is dead.
The world is here in Atlanta, people who hate each other everywhere else, somehow manage to live here. Maybe there's hope afterall... Posted by Hello

There's some wonderful poetry in this blog entry. Get to it and write the poem. Don't overdo it ... don't think about it too hard ... just write it. light! ~BLUE
